Set in industrial town, Kawasaki, Munakata drifts into a small electronic factory of the town like lime stones being brought by luggage train. And here he meets Omori, the owner of the factory; Mo, a fellow employee; Matsumura, a priest; and Yukari, Matsumura’s daughter. Those encounters with people pose him the ugliness lying in their hearts, the sorrow looming over their normal lives and the absurdity sustaining the ordinary days.
